The framed Living Tapestry is an elegant solution for a more formal, defined look ... literally a framed canvas of flowers and foliage. The frame is made from solid redwood with an exterior oil finish to protect the wood. Due to the difficulty of shipping this large frame, we can only offer this in the San Francisco Bay at this time. However, if you are comfortable with a little light carpentry, we can ship the pieces to be assembled. We are currently developing an easy to assemble frame.

The Living Tapestry^TM 4'x8' kit includes:

• Geo Textile growing medium with 80 plant pockets. the pocket size is optimized for plants in 4 inch pots, but can also easily be used with 6 pack plants: either one per pocket or two per pocket. Two per pocket yields a more filled out garden sooner
• Complete irrigation system including support pipes, submersible pump, nutrient reservoir, pump timer, adjustable valve.
• The complete system is easily assembled without tools: all of the copper  irrigation pipes snap together with quick-connect type fittings.

What you will need:

• An electrical outlet for the timer and pump.
• A waterproof surface to place the garden on. The geo textile itself will not leak water, but inevitably some water will drip down outside of the reservoir from the leaves and flowers of the plant. A plain dirt surface outside the home, a concrete or gravel patio area, or a tiled area inside the home is suitable.
• A structure to hang the garden from, e.g. a ceiling, eaves of your house, a porch structure, or simply a post. The garden pictured above is simply hung from a cleat attached to the house with two screws.
